Heated dryer rails

Would anyone recommend a particular one or ones to avoid? Small house, damp washing scenario! Have a tumble dryer but certain things but don't like to use it much.

Three years ago we bought the Lakeland 3 tier heated airer and cover bundle. It is still available on Lakeland. We find it very good, you can just leave it on for a few hours or maybe overnight and it does the job nicely, especially when you zip cover around it. The only thing I would say is that sometimes it is a bit fiddly pushing everything on to the rails, but that's perhaps just because I can be a bit clumsy, DH has no problem.

I am sure it uses far less power than a tumbler, and is a nice extra source of warmth in the room it's in whilst it's on.

Seconding the Lakeland one. Buy the cover or use a bed sheet to help speed up heating

The Lakeland heated drier is great. You may find you have to think about condensation though which can cause mould. There have been a lot of threads about it on here. Some people open a window. I use a window vac and a dehumidifier but may try something different with rising energy costs.

Yep I have the Lakeland one too, definitely worth the money. And make sure you get the cover with it. I have the smaller one which still holds a full load of washing. Would love the larger one but don't currently have the space.
