Best ways to control clothes moths?

I regularly come across clothes moths but I don’t think I have an infestation. This may sound odd, but I know my neighbour (terrace houses) does have them and I suspect some of them are somehow making their way into my house. If my theory is correct then just trying to eliminate them from my house with one of those bomb things will not work. I think I need ongoing deterrents. Any tips about what actually works?

Acana hangers and sachets work to keep them under control here. Changed regularly. In a Victorian house its impossible to keep everything out but at least stuff like Acana keeps it under control in my experience, so nothing establishes itself.

Sounds like a nightmare if your neighbour is infested.

They have been awful this year, I have caught hundreds - literally hundreds!, with entopest sticky cards. Pictured are ones I caught earlier in the year, I have changed the cards twice since then. Unfortunately they only attract the male moths, so all it takes is one male moth getting jiggy with a few few female moths before he gets stuck on the card for the whole thing to carry on. But I hope that eventually I will reduce their numbers, one moth at a time…..

The sticky pheromone traps are good.

Use in conjunction with Zero Moth Killer papers and sprays.

That photo is scary!

I have had Acana before so will get some more - thank you.

The neighbour is lovely but his house is full of old woollen rugs, blankets, decades old upholstered furniture and clothes - so moth paradise!
