I've filled 3 bin bags of clothes, 2 of books, 2 of toys and 2 of rubbish!
I haven't even finished yet.
It's made such a difference to the house.
I need to get the bags out of the house now and finish the book shelves in the living room.

The home feels lighter, like it cam breathe. Keep going OP, then keep it maintained. It makes for a much more pleasant living environment. I am ruthless these days.

I recently had a huge declutter as we were moving house. We had been there 16 years, the amount of crap you accumulate and never think to get rid of is quite scary. Our house felt so amazing afterwards, easier to live in. I do plan to try and do regular clearouts in this house.

I need to Declutter my garden I think! Too many plants

DD came home to visit and said it looks like a rainforest!

I work at a garden centre so buy all the half dead plants, which are always fine after a bit of TLC!

I'm going into my 24 year old sons room today! He works ridiculous long hours and just can't keep his room tidy. Every 6 months or so I 'go in'

He hates it but he's getting better slowly....too much stuff is his problem

He's got about 20 white t shirts!

I’m actually obsessed with decluttering. I’m a minimalist and now my house is far less cluttered I can breathe. It’s very addictive once you start.

Aw I’ve been decluttering loads this weekend too and it feels soo good! Had a baby 4 months ago and our spare room was being used as a dumping ground for outgrown baby clothes, boxes which baby stuff came in, used gift bags, maternity clothes no longer needed, carseat newborn insert etc. Have sorted bags for charity shop, recycled a lot of packaging, DH put a load of stuff into the attic and the spare room is back to looking like a functional spare room again Smile all I need to do now is hoover and dust in it. Also was good to go through DDs wardrobe and drawers in the nursery and remove anything she’s grown out of, albeit bittersweet as those tiny clothes are adorable.

Melisade90

start a baby memory box first pair of socks, baby grow , and first body suit, first dress. it’s really nice when they are a moaning teenager to show them how small they were, but only keep these things every thing else get rid of. I also have a phot of them in the outfit lying in the pram the first week home from hospital. All in the small baby memory box with the name band from the hospital.

enjoy your baby, it goes so quick.

when they start play group and nursery , stuff that’s bought home , was only kept in house for a week then disappeared into the bin, but now days just take a phot of your young artist amazing stuff and store in phone in art work folder. That’s what we did with me granddaughter , one week on fridge, then photo taken , and it just disappears just in time for the next amazing piece of art work to be on display for the week.😂
