I have c30 and it’s good. They don’t get right into the corners. But whack it on every day and they are amazing. I quickly check the floor for small toys and press start and and off she goes and then docks herself to recharge.

balzamico · 21/06/2022 08:29

I have ac30 (Eufy) too. It's fantastic. Runs over our main room overnight and is then charged and ready to do other rooms as & when

Ihatethenewlook · 21/06/2022 08:37

They’re not absolutely amazing, you will need to get a proper hoover out once in a while, they are pretty decent though. They are really good for dog hair which is why I got mine, I’ve got two big dogs which shed like mad. I’ve got it set on a timer to do the floors before I get up in the morning so I get to come down to dog hair free floors. It’s cut my actual hoovering down from twice a day to maybe once a week/fortnight when the couches, deep pile rugs and stairs need going over

SpiderVersed · 21/06/2022 08:39

Really disappointing. If you’ve got quite a busy space they are forever getting stuck.

WitchDancer · 21/06/2022 08:39

I love my Eufy. He's trundling around as I type this, as he does every morning. It's amazing where he finds so much to get! Worth every penny!

BadAtMaths2 · 21/06/2022 08:42

Got a 10 year old roomba. The floors have to be clear of dog toys, charger wires, headphones etc. but then he just trundles about. It’s great. You do have to clean his rollers especially if you have long hair.

Triffid1 · 21/06/2022 08:56

Love mine. Eufy over here.

Dogmum40 · 21/06/2022 09:06

Eufy owner here and he’s great! As someone else said as he’s round he doesn’t get into corners, I also spend a minute or two removing everything off the floor so the whole area gets done, you can leave it all but the hoover will go around it all

You get magnetic strips in the box which you can put down in areas you don’t want the hoover to go or just block those areas up with whatever you have lying around

He takes around 50 minutes to do the whole of my downstairs which is around 700 square feet, I’m looking at getting a robotic lawn mower in the next few weeks

Kinsters · 21/06/2022 11:19

We rarely use ours tbh - our house is not tidy enough so it's always getting stuck in corners, on wires and not able to get to the places that need hoovering. Also we've got a tall narrow house and I find it a bit annoying moving it up and down the floors, emptying the filter all the time etc.

All in all I prefer to use my dyson and electric mop. They're both non-wired and I feel like they clean really well so I can do the whole house in 20 minutes per day to a much better standard than the robot hoover could.

felicitycities · 21/06/2022 11:21

I'd like one, and occasionally nearly buy one, but I suspect they're a gimmick and I might not use it long term.

My husband offered to buy one for me for Christmas once

Aposterhasnoname · 21/06/2022 11:28

Life changing. Mines is just a cheap Lefant, but it does the job just fine. It’s on a timer so does the downstairs daily before we get up, then I take it upstairs each evening. Only use the big vac occasionally now, where before i was lugging it out everyday after work.

LateMumma · 21/06/2022 11:29

Eufy here and we love it. As everyone says, the floor needs to be clear, but ours copes with transitions between hard floor and rugs and gets right under the furniture

ThatPosterIsSoRight · 21/06/2022 11:38

I have a Lefant, cost £140. I didn’t manage to connect it to the WiFi but it’s still great, still have to clear the floor - especially any wires or tassels- but that feels like a quick job, then leave him to it. Best on clear rooms, struggles more when there’s loads of furniture to get round. He’s good at corners, with his little brushes.

As well as running him a few times in the week, we’re a good team at the weekends when I tidy and dust one room and leave him to vacuum while I do the next one.

Also have a normal one for the stairs.

His name is Robert.
