Sweaty Smells On T-Shirts after wash

Sorry if I sound like a sweaty minger but when I've been ironing my t-shirts, the armpits still have a horrible BO smell. I've changed my deoderant because I'm paranoid about people thinking I stink. I use liquid detergent and fabric softner but neither seems to get rid of the smell. I keep checking myself to make sure I don't smell bad but I'm honestly keeping my arms down to make sure no-one gets a wiff.

Changed my name incase people recognise me and starts calling me sweaty.

This happens on my gym t-shirts and as I can't afford to constantly buy new ones I learnt a little trick.

Mix white wine vinegar (I think - will have to check my cupboard later) with bi carb of soda and slap it on the arm's of the t-shirt. Then stick them in the wash. It gets rid of the smell!
