Tidying up services?

Do cleaners tidy??

It's not the cleaning I'm struggling with as such... I'm a disabled mom with a tiny flat and only one child and a cat! How much mess can we make?!

My partner started renovating my flat and helpfully leaves stuff while he goes off on other jobs... which I kinda get, they're paying, we don't live together and he has bills to pay himself and of course doing big renovations for free they have to fit in around his paid jobs but it's getting harder and harder to keep my home amid it all whilst I have mobility issues etc and chronic pain and fatigue

I'm essentially hoping to find a non judgemental cleaner who doesn't mind taking on tidying up as a bigger part of the job initially... I have various aids to help me clean and they'd work if it was tidy enough to begin! Before I became "disabled" I would probably have powered through in a day or two but I think I'm at the point of admitting I simply can't anymore and need to find someone who can help but I'm not entirely sure what I'm asking to find the person to begin with...

People who do this stuff exist right? Anyone able to recommend anyone in SE London?

My cleaner definitely would / does sometimes.
My neighbour's cleaner started doing this and gradually started doing more and more to support her as she became less mobile.

Both of them were self employed and were more than happy to do whatever was helpful to their customer who was paying them for their time.
I suspect an agency would be less flexible.

Maybe search for a organiser or a decluttering service? They are non judgemental and could come in and organise your stuff for you before you hire a cleaner.

I'm a cleaner and also do decluttering as my 2nd job. Some cleaners might do tidying up, you can only ask. I'm in Sussex so a bit far away

I found a service for decluttering that seemed reasonable and said they should be able to cover that so fingers crossed it works 😅

A cleaner won’t have a problem with this - so long as you are clear about exactly what you want doing. Being asked to tidy in a reasonable time is fine - it’s what the client wants! Being asked to tidy in the same time frame and then moaned at as the cleaner hasn’t also cleaned is unreasonable and a cleaner won’t be happy - 2 distinctly different jobs to be done in one jobs timeframe is not reasonable.
Just be clear about what you want and the time frame.
