Help! How do I get cat sick stain out of cream carpet?

Grrrr. I have the most annoying cat ever. First he was sick on a pile on unwrapped Xmas presents and now he has done it on my new cream carpet.

I have cleared up the mess but am left with a big brownish stain. Can anyone advise what to use to lift it out without bleaching?
