My washer is not emptying out the water properly after the spin cycle.Everything is coming out soaking wet.
A lady at dds pre school said when hers did the same she called someone out .He removed a litle hatch at the botom pulled out 2 safety pins and charged her £65!
I have just opened the little hatch behind which was a turn type knob i unscrewed it and water started to piss out everywhere??
Maybe not the same hatch above lady was talking about but it's the only one i can see.
I really don't have £65 just after xmas and dds birthday at the weekend so any advice would be appreciated. TIA

Yes, water will come out of the filter but you just need to be on hand to mop it up and to see whether there is something trapped there. I usually put a roasting tin underneath that catches some of the water and mop up the rest. Better a wet floor than a long wait for a repair that might take only a couple of minutes.

Yes, the water that is left in there will come gushing out but it is not flooding quantities, have a dirty towel ready.
Once the water is out, you should be a able to see anything that is stuck in there.
Will go do mine actually!

Take the hose out of the back and give it a good bashing on the floor - even made DH suck ours when it was blocked or you can undo a wire coat hanger and poke that down - bath mats and babies socks are the worse culprit - make sure you use a net bag for all socks and undies and bath mats and it shouldn't happen again - worked for us anyway!

Thankyou everyone i will try that and report back later.
Am off to school now for a couple of hours so will have a go when i get back.
To be honest anything could be the culprit i have even been known to wash nappies (not the cloth type either)!
