If your kitchen surfaces are clear, where does the cleaning stuff go?

If you've an open plan kitchen and are trying to keep things on the surface to a minimum, where do you keep brush, sponge and detergent?

Oh I don’t keep our hand soap in the cupboard! That’s always out on the counter by the sink - as pp said, I don’t want to be having to touch handles/knobs with chickeny (or whatever) hands.

You can put in sink with a chopping board that fits over the sink n gives a streamline look . That way you see clean lines.
