The curtains and blinds in my kitchen smell of cooking, what can i do to freshen them that doesn't involve taking them all down and sending to the dry cleaner???

Google fabric deodoriser, there are sprays that are made for this -febreeze for example.

I wouldn’t have curtains, or a sofa, in a kitchen for this reason but that’s personal choice.

I did wonder if febreze would work. Anyone had any experience with that or the unstoppable version?
I wouldn't normally but they all came with the house and are good quality so we don't want to get rid of them, plus one side has 2 huge floor to ceiling windows and patio doors so would be an expensive pain to replace

Wash them in the machine on a cold cycle?

Spray it lightly with vodka. Cheap is fine and you don't have to dilute it. Old theatre wardrobe trick. :)

open the windows

@purplesequins

open the windows
They are opened a lot both during and after cooking

Take down, hang on line, spray with febreze and leave to air. If grease is trapped in the fabric it will need a dry clean but maybe an iron run over a lighter fabric or paper will draw it out.
