Does anyone have a carpet cleaner? I'm debating getting one. A few reviews say they leave the carpets a bit wet. Is there a technique? Any recommendations?

I hire a Rug Dr machine - there's someone local to me that hires for £20 a day on fb. They're honestly life changing! I wouldn't bother with buying one - these machines are £1600 new so you just can't beat the motor and cleaning ability. I clean mine once or twice a year and the carpet's dry in 2 hours

Yes I'm weighing up the pros anc cons of hiring one of those or just getting one to use all the time whenever I need.

I’ve got a vax machine, I’ve just used it today on the hall carpet, it was only 70 on a Black Friday deal, it’s fantastic and leaves the old hall carpet looking (almost) new. I use it 3 or 4 times a year, put the heating on and it’s dry in a couple of hours.

Thanks the Vax ones seem to be most recommended. Waiting for a Black Friday deal is a good idea.
