Anything to reduce the newly painted smell?

Anything that will absorb the smell in my spare bedroom. Friend coming to stay tomorrow night and the paint is trying to dry and I've been told to keep the heat in to help and not open the windows.

My mother swears by a bowl of salt in the room, supposed to absorb the odour. I've also heard that burning candles is supposed to help.

Ooh I love the smell of fresh paint.
