Goodness, can't believe it's that time. Really shouldn't be sitting here... waiting for dh to get off the damn phone and lay the flooring so i can get on and rearrange the rest of the house. Got dinner to do too...

DS had a whale of a time, and DD1 was most upset, as everyone was paying DS a lot of attention!

He wants to go again, which is a good thing...but he has nursery tomorrow...which he doesn't want to go to!

I'm trying to get christmassy...only 12 days to go now isn't it? BARMY!
I don't feel xmassy at all
I'm normally climbing the walls waiting for it to come....just not getting the vibe this year.

Moved the plants next to the warmest wall so the frost doesn't get them
Washed and refitted spare bed
Fed sprogs and cleared up

Evening all.
Went all the way back to dds tonight to take her to her evening nativity performance and 5mins later the helper was bringing her back down to her classroom! She didn't want to do it!
So i got her changed again and we all came home. I am glad i saw the play the other day.

not been online today - hope everyone is well (will read through thread in a while)
have had DS2's christmas party at the Toddler group I run - Father Christmas was a star with the kids - but a bit of a letch (sp?) with the Mums.
Then took DS1 and his friend to a Playbarn near us

When I got back at 4 I realised my friend is coming for the day tomorrow so it kicked me into flying action

Have -
cleaned bathrooms
cleaned kitchen
hoovered through
cleaned under all the cushions on the sofas
tidied all the toys into their appropriate boxes
washing
ironing
chilli for tea
boys to bed
now sat with glass of wine.

evening all

Just got back from the hospital - mum is still in, she has an infection. They burnt her with the thingy they use for cauterising (sp) the wound and stuff and it is infected.

They will also not let her out until she is a bit more awake - not going to happen. I told them she does not have a sleep pattern - hasnt since dad died, basically she doesnt sleep for a week and then body gives in. Also not helped by the fact that she is a bitter old pill at the moment. was so rude to me that she shocked the nurses - but I am used to it all because I can only visit in afternoon, as DH is out tomorrow on works do. God I do love her, but I dont like her sometimes.

we are on a playdate tomorrow and then visiting her in the afternoon.

Flywise - I got almost all of my list done, including the ironing.

Luda - still can not get in the spirit - may better next week - birthday is on Thursday

Oh TMH it must be so hard for you having her be so rude to you. At least you are still visiting her which shows what a good person you are.

TMH you are really a trooper - sounds like your mum is having some bad luck with things at the moment - wishing you all a more peaceful 2008.
