HELP PLEASE!!! STAIN EMERGENCY!

Well, not really an epergency per se, but DH thinks it is. He dropped a knife loaded with marmite down his favourite jeans and, despite scraping off excess and immediately washing, they have stained badly

Any good ideas for getting the stain out?

I always swear by liquid soda chrystals. Dead cheap, for a squirty type bottle in Wilkos. Worth a try.

LilRedMummyGiraffe · 24/11/2007 13:16

Thanks - I'll give it a go (when I've been to the shops).

I find washing up liquid is superb on most stains. Put it on, rub it in and wash as normal.

LilRedMummyGiraffe · 24/11/2007 13:20

Right - will try that Beckle, then go to the shops for some soda crystals if not joy. Argh!!!

Thanks both.

vanish or ace?

LilRedMummyGiraffe · 24/11/2007 13:31

DH has exceme and his skin reacts stupidly to anything like Vanish even when it's washed out. We have used Fairy washing powder and Comfort Pure since we were married as he's such a delicate little thing .
