Smelly damp & stained clothing ( inc mould)

I know I can google but I would be v grateful for tried and tested answers.. Also google comes up with baking soda (which no shop on my high street sells.. I tried today) and white vinegar.. which I can't use as someone in this household is very averse to the smell

1/ a cotton jacket with ingrained collar dirt, regular washing has not removed it (not makeup! and wasn't my grime.. man's jacket)
2/ A silk top that stinks from damp....I need something that will remove the stink and the spores I can't see, without shrinking or damaging
3/ a silk top also damp from mould and with visible black spores.. should I take to a dry cleaner?

I have at home..
'Borax replacement'
Vanish Oxi Action Odour Blaster

I've had to chuck most of my clothing that was in storage as just to grim to deal with and couldn't bring into the house. The above are the ones I want to try keep...
The silk top I've done nothing with at all so far

Baking soda is the same thing as bicarbonate of soda/bicarb.

Most supermarkets sell small containers in baking aisle, for less than a pound. You can also buy larger quantities online much more cheaply (it’s good for all sorts of stuff).

If the silk top can be washed I would hand wash it and hang it out to dry for days and days.

The silk top without visible spores that is.

I would try this as it's suitable for silk. Maybe Vanish soap bar as a pre wash treatment on the collar of the coat.

thanks for the replies. I do have bicarb of soda. I thought it had different qualities to baking ! I stand corrected ;)

I find bicarbonate and water paste does a super job of eliminating odours. Or make up a solution in a spray bottle.
