Welcome Jen

Well, despite feeling pretty dodgy still, I made it to parents eve and had glowing reports for both dcs [proud mummy emotion] Isn't it daft have you can feel so ashamed of your kids one day and so pleased the next?!

No time to post more cos dh needs the computer. See you all tomorrow x

thanks for the welcome.
Sadly house not immaculate.. not much excess clutter though.. Have 2 small children so it is a bit like painting the fourth bridge.. but do feel that I have got to the point where the house isn't ever more than 5-10 minutes away from being fit for visitors.

My challenge is really to get putting the laundry away to the point where it is habit.. at the moment it is still a chore! This would allow my bedroom to not be the laundry room!

Sorry, have hijacked your thread...

still to do tonight is stack the dishwasher and load the washing machine for overnight washing.
Also get out things I need for tomorrow, Thursday;s are always a bit hectic as I run a baby group from 9am

Looking forward to getting to know you all better,
Jen x

Hi and welcome Jen

You sound as though you are at pretty much the same point as me FLY wise. I have 3 small children and know exactly what you mean! They seem to follow you around un- doing what you've done don't they!

I too wish putting laundry away was a habit and not a chore...I have about 4 piles as I type that are cluttering up my bedroom. I usually wait until it is too much and then grit my teeth and do it!
Maybe we could both work on that one!

bianca oooh well done to your dc you see...you are definately doing something right xx

Well i have actually read the thread, but have completely forgotten what I wanted to say now , and I can't flip to the first page now as I'll loose all this post!
So...hope everyone is ok, and I'll see you tomorrow

I am off to lie down (am on the tail end of a migraine...gah!)Dh is watching England...and is not happy...2-0 to Croatia

O Hi - I find that the washing thing has worked well, I put a load to go overnight and get it out before breakfast and put on another load. Dh takes DS1 to school so I iron yesterdays washing after breakfast then hang up the second load of washing to dry. Laundry done for the day.. I have no idea why when I carry the washing upstairs as I take DS2 for his morning nap that I dont just put the washing away! Can't start tomorrow as Thursdays don't work well but I will start Friday and try to make it a habit!
hope your migraine leaves you alone soon!

Speak to you all tomorrow x

There is no chance of me catching up wih what I've missed. Sorry. I hope everyone is well. I'll try and get bk properly soon.

Morning I guess. DS1 has been sick everywhere, caused by his cough. He breathing is not good, neither is his temp 39.7. I have given him some capol and he is upstairs in bed with his daddy, whist I sort his bed out.

I think I am destined not to sleep at all this week
