This is the most frustrating problem... can anyone help? I'm now always getting detergent foam left at the front seal/door of the washing machine at the end of a cycle, even with the extra rinse setting on.
It's a new machine, bought late last year. I noticed this issue early on and it seems to happen after every cycle now, although more so after a cold cycle. I've tried different detergents (powder, liquid, Smol gel capsules) and reducing the amount of detergent and nothing seems to help.
From what I can tell online, as it's not a mechanical issue, it wouldn't be covered under a warranty as it's not considered a fault... I just don't understand why it's happening as I've never had this issue in all my years of doing laundry and using many other washing machines.
Do modern machines need an extra tiny amount of detergent, or something? It's meant to be really energy efficient but I've having to put clothes on a second cycle with no detergent added so that negates any energy saving.
