Hi, I need a new chopping board/worktop saver but want one that isn't textured or wood abs won't scar. Does such a thing exist?

You get glass worktop savers, but if you use them as chopping boards they will blunt your knives. A chopping board has to be made of something softer than your knife.

It's mainly for cutting bread really. Or chopping vegetables. My knives aren't very sharp to start with. I want one I can't put in the dishwasher so wooden is out and I can't stand the noise of the textured ones.

I have a black granite chopping board. Best one I have every had. I can’t remember where I bought it from possibly Sainsbury’s and it was in the sale. I just sharpen my knives when they are blunt.
