Thanks Plenty of companies seem to do name labels but not individual letters.

C&H Fabrics do them.

aaarrrggghhh · 13/11/2007 21:26

I can't find them on the website NAB. Do you know what they're called?

Well ebay have them but were charging something like £12 for 3 sets of the whole alphabet plus all manner of punctuation symbols etc that I don't really want!

used to sew nametapes but now write the name with biro or marker pen.

NAB3littlemonkeys · 14/11/2007 07:58

I was meaning individual cloth letters that you sew on, are you meaning regular name tapes?

aaarrrggghhh · 14/11/2007 12:20

Yes individual cloth letters is what I'm after. I've got name tapes already. Maybe I could actually sew the letters like some clever mums do . What stitch would I do? What kind of thread would I need?

The ones I had seen in C&H were quite big, about 3", and they would just be sewn on with any stitch really.

purplehighheels · 14/11/2007 20:28

I used squeezy fabric paint that I got at hobbycraft. They do iron on transfer letters as well.

TheBlonde · 14/11/2007 20:38

John Lewis had some but they were pricey
What about cutting the letters out of felt and sewing that on?
