Please tell me how to clean my oven door

I'm holding my hands up to my slovenly ways, and admitting I need some genius to tell me how to clean my oven doors.

I have a bit of a history with ovens and when we left our rental the professional oven cleaner said our oven wasn't the worst but it was "up there" 😳

I vowed with this oven it would be different and at first I was good at keeping on top if it. But I let it slide and now I cannot for the life of me clean the bastarding glass on the door! I have left it soaking in Cif oven cleaner which took off some of the grease but the big brown streaks WILL NOT budge! What can I do to get rid of them and get my oven looking beautiful again? I have bicarb, I have white cider vinegar, is there some sort of magic paste I can concoct a la Kim and Aggie that will help?

Call the oven cleaning bloke who does the whole thing for £45!

Glass scraper, no soaking, 5 minutes tops and looks brand new

Don't use pink stuff on the oven door! It's really abrasive and can cause the glass to crack when it heats.

Lots of people have ended up with shattered oven doors after using pink stuff on them.

I’ve found astonish to be good.

I use the Elbow Grease spray, seems to shift most of it easily. I just can't work out how to get in between the glass on ours so there are marks on the outer glass I can't get to which makes it look really bad.

I'll need to dig out the manual to see what it says as I'm scared I'll break something trying to do it as it's not obvious, our last oven had clips to move for the inner glass but this one doesn't seem to have anything like that and it looks like one piece but with a hollow bit in the middle (and the only access seems to be from the bottom which is impossible to get into with the angle of it.)

Also, I've never used the pink stuff, is it a general household cleaner or just for ovens? I also need something that will make cleaning my bathroom a doddle as right now I don't think my very blasé "spray with bathroom spray and wipe" method is most effective 😁 our bathroom is aquamarine, though, so the dirt doesn't show up much (that's how I get away with it!!)

I think the Pink Stuff is really good for the bathroom. I have the cream thing. I squirt it all over, scrub, then wash away. Seems to do the trick.

A sorry, sorry state of affairs, I'm afraid 😂 that is tomorrow's job!

In my defense, I have ONLY JUST gotten some free time to myself now the youngest is in nursery so I'm now dedicating myself to a life of domestic goddess-ness 😁

Oh I wouldn’t bother with domestic goddess ness but we cook a lot of meats and the smell is horrendous if not cleaned!
