leftovers storage

Having finally ran out of my stash of Ikea food bags, I am searching for a different option to stash leftovers. I have a few of the small pyrex dishes in the freezer with 1-2 servings in, but that is getting rather expensive! I do need a few of those though for DD1 to be able to simply reheat rather than move out of bag into dish etc (disablities).

Can anyone recommend the reusable freezer bags? I tend to reuse the ikea ones, but like the look of the 'proper' reusable ones but cant afford to waste money.

Have you looked at Tupperware (and similar) containers? They can be used for many years. It's easy to get frozen food out of them and transfer to Pyrex just by running them under the hot tap for 20 seconds and then the food pops out like an ice cube.

I have the Lakeland stack a boxes. I have the 400ml and the 750ml boxes and they both take the exact same size of lid which is very handy plus they nest for storage.

we've embraced the glass tuppaware approach, which has saved no ends of cling film and tin foil. We have a mix of ikea and pyrex (good deals to be had in home bargains / tk maxx / home sense)

Ikea do a 3 pack of stretchy silicone disks which will cover bowls and the like.

we've also bought reusable washable silicone food storage bags, but they aren't as durable as I would have hoped. As and when they ned replacing I'll be sticking with the glass containers

Glass containers all the way here - I have a variety from TK Maxx. Also bought a few silicone bags - use them a bit but they are such a faff opening up. I also use Nutella jars and their lids for small amounts of leftovers - mainly in the fridge but gave frozen them.
