Saucepans

I need a new set of saucepans and a frying pan for my induction hob. We bought a cheap set when we first had it and they are rubbish (the non stick surface has come off for a start) which I knew they would be (can I say to my DH - I told you so!?). So I don't mind spending a (fairly) decent amount on a set that will last me. What can you recommend please?

I quite fancy a set of tefal ingenio induction stackable pans with the detachable handles.

I don't need new ones though. have a great set of mismatched anodised pans. Morrison's the best range have 2 sizes of frying pans at around £20. They've been 'the best' frying pans I've had. I have some older anodised pans from Morrisons too which have been very impressive considering the price. They are from an older range - I think the current range is just a different colour and handles.

My brabantia pans have scratched surfaces from peppercorn sauces and sauces with ground nutmeg.

I'm looking at the Circulon Momentum 5 pan set which is suitable for induction.

We have Pro Cook saucepans, slightly heavy but very happy with them. We have induction too.

Do you know which ones you have please? (I'm also looking)

I've got Le Creuset Signature stainless steel saucepans and a Pyrex Expert Touch non-stick frying pan, all of which seem to be doing the job.

The Pyrex pan in particular was a bit of a find, 'twas a good deal cheaper than the equivalent Circulon or Le Creuset. (I've had Circulon frying pans before and while they're good and heavy they never seem to last more than about three years.)

Oh and silicone cooking utensils (spatula, stirring spoon etc) -- stops the scraping on non-stick surfaces.

We got a circulon set when we moved to our current home and they’re still good as new 7 years later.

Le creuset all the way here.

Brilliant! Will check these out too. Dishwasher safe? Sometimes it says it's fine for the dishwasher but they get ruined anyway.

I bought the tefal circulon momentum ones (set of 5). The pans are tall - but I love them. They feel solid without weighing a ton.
From that set - I'd only say the 25cm frying pan is only maybe 23cm at the base. I bought the larger frying pan separately.

Aga or Le Crueset

We've had our Aga saucepans for years and they are still immaculate. We have Le Creuset ones too and they're also great but I do prefer the Aga ones.
