Is there anything other than a reed diffuser, if so what?

And which is the best I can order online please

Need something that's strong enough for a boot room Sad.

I really like the Neom room sprays, although they’re a bit pricey. Otherwise maybe arrange a bunch of dried lavender in a vase or a jug? You can buy bunches fairly cheaply on Etsy.

If it’s the shoes or boots themselves, these do a great job in my cycling shoes.

Rather than masking the smell, I might be inclined to neutralise it, instead. You can buy a cheap pack of value tea bags and put them in the shoes, they absorb smells really well! Just bin and replace them when they're no longer effective. Then pop a couple of bowls of bicarbonate of soda around, you could add dried lavender (or a few drops of an essential oil you like) to it if you want fragrance. The bicarb will absorb smells, too. Open a window whenever possible and keep it clean. Good luck!

Yeah get some foot/shoe powder if you need industrial strength action to tackle the source of the issue.

There’s plenty of lovely room sprays on the market (I use Victoria secret) but it’s debatable how well they will work when there’s a major odour to cover up - they’re probably meant to be used in more neutral scent environments. Aside from the febreeze pet sprays perhaps?
