Essential oil diffusers

Hi everyone, I’m considering getting an essential oil diffuser but don’t know anyone that has one that I can ask or look at. Does the mist/air whatever it is that comes out make anything wet or your house damp? I live in an old house and struggle with dampness so don’t want to add to it x

Some oils are dangerous to pets.

Oh no I've bought one as a gift for my sister, oils arriving today- how do I check they won't be dangerous for her dog please??

Google a veterinary page.

It's some oils (actually quite a few) that are dangerous to pets, not the diffuser itself. Lavender is ok. Google for information, though some is contradictory. Look on a vet site, as the poster above suggested.

I bought a cheap one off ebay (£25) to see if I liked, complete blind buy but noticed it came up as a top 2020 ones!
Also got the neom one now which is lovely but as others have said a lot for the size etc.
Sounds awful but I think the cheaper one project's more and lasts longer, doesn't look as good but still looks nice, has more options.. Depends what you want.
I get oils off etsy at the moment

I’ve had one from Neals Yard for years and use their oils. Lovely quality and smells like a spa. “Vitality” is my favourite.

Well I’ve just bought a Neom Perfect Night Sleep oil for my oil burner. If I like the smell I will consider a diffuser. My daughter gave me some Ava May Aroma wax melts and omg they are strong!! They’re bloody good tho but I just worry about all the toxins me and my family are breathing in x

Tisserand Ouls are good and you can get them reduced in TK Maxx (when we're allowed out).

We tend to use the eucalyptus one whenever anyone has a cold. I pop it in the kids room for an hour before bedtime and then let it run whilst they sleep. My one can switch off after 1hr/3hr or 6hrs. I just got a cheapie one off Amazon and it seems great. The neom one does look swish though.

Eucalyptus is also really good for purifying and killing germs in the air x

Well I bought a French lavender (smells like tea tree?) and a lemon, hoping to recreate the Yankee version but I don't think the lavender smells great at all.. We will see!
