I've even been at it with a toothbrush but can't quite get into all the corners and there's that revolting kind of gudge that I can't shift. IT's just an Addis plastic thing, but would rather find a way to keep it clean and not have to buy another one if at all poss as had terrible trouble finding one that fitted the draining board we have.

Would be great if I could find some kind of Cilit Bang or just some kind of bicarb, soda crystal type mixture!

Advice please!

will it fit in the dishwasher?

EmsMum · 26/10/2007 12:34

I was going to say that ... I have a small plastic rack, it goes in the dishwasher whenever I want to run the machine but its not full.

PellMell · 26/10/2007 12:35

I was going to say the same then thought not everyone has room or need for a dishwasher.

If you have a high pressure shower that might do it.

Oh a dishwasher, how I dream of one of those. We're in rented house and ther's no space. Fell very sad, I just know deep down that a dishwasher is the answer to so many of my problems! Am having a bash with my Cilit B lime and grime in the hope that may help, water pressure here is rubbish so can't do high pressure shower either. Thanks to all though.

What exactly do people use Bicarb and soda crystals for? I feel very intrigued by cleaning powers I may be missing.

Also Mrs B spotted advice from you on another thread from a while back about DuoBoots. Went to a shop first thing the following sat am and my perfect, perfect boots, for my ridiculously skinny legs arrive two days later and fit like a glove. so thank you!

I clean my draining rack with bicarb and a bit of washing up liquid. Mix together to a paste then use a combination of small scrubbing brush, a toothbrush and a cloth to scrub and get into all the corners and crevices. Pour lots of boiling water over to rinse really well, then dry with an old cloth.
