How to get rid of smears on newly laid porcelain floor?

Hope the pics show what I mean. I've had a beautiful new kitchen floor laid and after the tiler left they looked amazing. I washed it for the first time yesterday and buffed up after but I have what looks like greasy spot marks which don't buff away. Tried newspaper as that works for window glass and just a cloth but can't get rid. It looks like it needs another wash but it's clean just spotty.

I used a vileda cloth on a long handled handle and diluted flash. Should I use something else? These have replaced old porcelain tiles which would sometimes dry a bit smeary but a skate around in socks would sort it but that is not working this time so I'm not new to porcelain tiles.

Hope someone has a magic solution or some tips I've not tried. Help...

Could it be that some adhesive hasn't been removed from the face of the tile when fitting?

Knittedfairies I would ordinarily have thought that but when he left it was buffed by him and all that removed and so was perfect. I phoned the tile shop where we'd bought them and he tried to sell some overpriced smear free cleanser then said I should spray the grout to seal it with another overpriced solution.
In the end I washed it again with just very warm plain water and a different mop then once nearly dry buffed with a clean tea towel and it seems to have worked. Think I may have had the flash ratio a bit high and it was bubbles drying as was spots the size of pennies and tuppences. Such a faff though.
