Mice behind sink

Morning!
Last night I began clearing out the kitchen as it’s getting taken out on Monday for work to begin & a new one fitted the end of next week.
While emptying under the sink I seen shredded plastic bag coming out of one of the back pipe holes. This is definitely mouse related Sad about 3 months ago we were getting a new shed & under the old was a pile of shredded plastic bag & the guy said that’s a mouse or rat nest. A few days later we caught a mouse in the boiler house, there was a hole here going into the back of the sink which is now cemented. But I think we’ve blocked whatever was there in now!
Any ideas on how to quickly deal with mice before the new kitchen goes in?
I am petrified to think what we will find on Monday when the kitchen comes out & where they will move to!

Morning op. As it's now Monday this is probably far too late but I think the only way you'll get rid of them is traps. Use a bit of peanut butter on it to attract them and be persistent as there's probably more than you think. And try and see where they're coming in and block it up. Good luck!

Snap traps are the only humane and efficient way to do this.

We currently have mice, and have caught a few in the snap traps. They are caught fairly quickly and we use peanut butter in ours too.
Im sure you already have but I would pull out all furniture and check all corners everywhere to look for any droppings. They were under our sink coming in from the boiler house but at least one got into the house and ran across the living room floor. We all managed to get it out the front door (like something out of a comedy show) but before this it was up the curtains and everything! They can get everywhere! Good luck

Chocolate works best in the humane traps but I've discovered the easiest most effective way without killing them CINNAMON!!!!!! Just shake it wherever you see signs of them. They disappear very fast, much quicker than traps or poison (they hate it on their paws!!) .

We have a biggish old stone house (with holes in the walls of course) and since our great mouser cat has had 3 legs, the mice thought they were safe, but no the cinnamon has done it better than anything else!!!!!
