Having a one off / deep clean

I think I've been neglecting my house. I do the basics - the toilets and work surfaces are always clean, and I hoover every few days. On the surface my home looks clean and it's always very tidy which is a start. But sometimes I realise that I haven't dusted the top of the door frames or light fittings since I've lived here for several years. The oven hasn't been properly cleaned for a year or more, likewise the inside of the windows. There are certain jobs that I can't face now because I can't deal with the filth Blush
Is this the kind of thing that one off / deep cleans are for? If I pay someone to come in and make my house sparkle, what exactly can I expect them to do?
I just want to start from scratch really so I can get back on top of things.

I'm sure there are companies that do this. Write a list of what you want them to do

Cleaning companies that do domestic work, and individual cleaners. They'll likely do basically whatever you want, have a list of jobs ready and discuss it with them.

Doing a top-to-bottom one off clean is common for house sales, end of rentals, after particularly bad teenage parties and the like.

The thing is, I don't know what needs doing... The house just feels like it generally needs a really good scrub. Little forgotten corners and things. Can I just ask them to come and make the house sparkle!? Blush

Cleaners around here advertise one off cleans. You can get an oven cleaning service in too.
