Oh dear.

Remove the black pen markers from anywhere DTs can get their paws on them!

We had an absolute rule of No Felt Tips In The Living Room - kitchen table only! Pencil crayons only elsewhere.

bummer · 10/10/2007 11:52

could you colour it in? What colour is the wall paper could you colour it grey and eventually layer it to a fainter colour/colour matching the wall paper? Silly suggestion I know but when all else fails

totalyfreaky · 10/10/2007 11:58

I was writing ds name in some of his school stuff with it, then the phone rang, the rest is self explantary

And would you believe, in my panick I put the marker down somewhere and cant find it just hope I find it before dts do.

not sure if it will work on marker pen, but crayons and biro come off with toothpaste. The white stuff, not blue minty gel

totalyfreaky · 10/10/2007 12:00

thanks will give it a go, have tried hairspray too.

Tell the DTs you're playing Hunt The Marker and there is a prize for whoever finds it and returns it to you first.

themoon66 · 10/10/2007 12:05

Could you carefully paint bleach over the marks with a cotton bud? Only would work on very pale wallpaper though.

throckenholt · 10/10/2007 12:06

have you tried wipes ?

DT's can be a nightmare - mine (and their bigger brother too) decided to use permanent marker to label things last week - luckily it was just their toys - but I still lost it and read the riot act (and confiscated all pens and said toys )

lljkk · 10/10/2007 12:16

If it's freshly put on there you MIGHT have some success attacking it with white vinegar -- do it this instant, though.

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 10/10/2007 12:19

nail varnish remover can remove permanent marker sometimes

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 10/10/2007 12:19

You ruin the risk of smudging it over a larger area if you don't approach it carefully though.

totalyfreaky · 10/10/2007 13:39

I founsd a solution, I have rearranged the furniture so its all hidden
