Blood Stain

Sorry if it's too much information. I went to the doctors and whilst I was there he decided to remove my coil. I wasn't expecting this! Anyway, I was wearing some pretty expensive white linen trousers. By the time I got home I noticed I'd been bleeding and had a blood stain under the crotch area (sorry). I can't get the stain out completely despite soaking them in soda crystals before washing them. It's now a slight yellow colour. Any ideas please as I love these trousers!

Ooh not sure but for the future when it comes to blood stains run under the cold tap for a few minutes before washing and using a stain remover. Maybe try soaking in Vanish Oxy stain remover that always seems to be good on stubborn stains.

I’m only up because the dog has puked on the the new bedroom carpet and it’s like treacle so have cleared it, pre treated it and waiting to run the carpet cleaner over it. So I feel your stain pain right now!

I know there's a difference between blood and tomato sauce but I recently got sauce on a new white cotton dress. I rinsed it cold water immediately and soaked it for ages in vanish oxy stain remover (snap pp!). That didn't do anything. The thing that shifted it was using a brush (the nail brush we keep at the kitchen sink) and the stain remover. It took a while, partly because I was afraid of damaging the material but it did finally come out.

I'd go for a day on the washing line in bright sunshine. Amazing for lots of stains. If it's been washed then I'd say the stain is set now.

My white linen trousers need a bit of sprucing up, I seem to recall Dr Beckmann Glowhite works ... I'll be buying some shortly!

Soak in COLD water! Then wash with oxy wash in a cold wash

Get them out in the sun, it works better than any stain remover!

Pink vanish oxy spray. First wet it (cold water) under a running tap. Leave for a bit then spray. Et voila! A miracle.

Thanks. They've been left out on the washing line in the sun for days and I can no longer see the stain. Yay!
