Hi all,

I recently used two separate products: a mould cleaner and limescale remover, for a long overdue overhaul of the shower area. The window was kept open throughout.

However the spray went everywhere and has now dried. I have tried to wipe down the areas with water, but it went absolutely everywhere and I can tell I haven't got it all.

I realised after that these weren't the usual B&Q variety products - as I got them from a professional plumbing shop.

Do such products tend to be toxic once dried on hard surfaces? Which you might be walking on or touching.

Thanks in advance

Google the Material Safety Data Sheet for each product.

It might be that you are just unfamiliar with the stenchant that was used so find it extra noticeable (I’m not trying to minimise your problem).

I think you're OK if you've wiped down with water. Even if there is a bit left it will be diluted now.
