What constitutes a deep clean

I'm debating treating our home to a one off deep clean once lockdown is lifted (in Scotland). 3 bed semi detached, one bathroom, small kitchen.

How long would it take and what tasks would happen in a deep clean?

I'm just so fed up of cleaning and being at home that I'm probably getting lazy.

It would be nice to save up for a deep clean and then be back to "zero" to keep on top of.

No clutter. Tidy inhabitants.

There was a thread about deep cleans within the last few days.
It seems people have different ideas, and prices vary wildly.

You need to get a few quotes and
a) ask them what they would do for the money and / or
b) decide what you want doing and ask what they would charge for that.

Different people will have different policies on things like moving furniture for example. Do you want your oven cleaning ? Some companies who specialise might include things like window cleaning and furniture moving that might be beyond the means of an individual cleaner working on her own

I did a search for deep clean before I posted! There wasn't anything that recent. I'm on the app though so maybe search facility isn't great.

A deep clean simply means washing all soft and hard surface you can get to. Bli.ds, curtains, carpets, skirting, walls (where possible), inside cupboards etc. You can do it all yourself quite easily.

I know I could do it myself quite easily @TARSCOUT but I don't want to. I'd like to save up and pay for a company to do it. A treat to myself, the family and the home.

We did shampoo the carpets downstairs last weekend and the bathroom has had a deep clean today.

I worked from home anyway so I've been safe at home for a very long time now (Scotland so still in the stay at home mode) and I'm fed up of looking at these walls!
