Anyone else realised how little food storage they have now they can't shop almost every day?

I used to shop 5/6 days a week. I would usually walk past 3 supermarkets on the way to work and grab extras at the weekend. Tiny under counter fridge, a mid sized freezer and limited cupboard space, even just for three of us.

Turns out it's a PITA trying to stock up as little as possible she you have no where to put it. Surplus for this week is currently sitting under my desk and I'm considering a second fridge freezer. Rather jealous of everyone with a beast of an American fridge freezer now Envy.

My grandad's little council house had a big walk-in pantry (I assume from before the days fridges/freezers were common. I have a much bigger house than grandad but much less practical storage space.

I keep tins, unopened breakfast cereal etc in the living room sideboard. But it's a faff rotating things as they're used.
