Jas...you are so good at remembering all this!

Ok...well a normal day here today, yesterday was fab, but back to school as normal today.

I'm halfway through morning routine

I really can't get the S&S bathroom step in though...I don't spend that much time in the bathroom TBH! I tend to do it once the kids are all sorted and out the house.

Mind you...I guess you do actually have until lunch time to do the morning routine don't you...

Anyway...I'm pleased to report...we all have clean underwear

FunkyGlassSlipper · 13/09/2007 07:39

Morning Guys.

Luda - I have my routines on my desktop so it is easy to cut and paste, and also justify your time on MN

Special mention for babypowder (as I know it will make her smile. Well done yesterday

On top of things again this morning. Have cleared sink from last night and already have w/m and d/w on. Now off to get dressed and then going out.

Have a nice day everyone !

BigBeeristheBigBeer · 13/09/2007 07:47

I am doing my swish and swipe around the girls' bathtime. So I've moved it to my evening routine. That works for me....

Have a bit of a sore head this morning.

Groceries about to be delivered, then I have to pack DD1 to nursery and take DD2 to Sing and Sign classes this morning.

FunkyGlassSlipper · 13/09/2007 08:13

Morning Bigbeer.

Good plan to move the routine around...

So far, I am/have done:
Up and dressed
Make bed
Swish & Swipe bathroom
Put a washload in
Empty dishwasher
Clear away breakfast things and leave a shiny sink
Kelly's Mission

Still need to do:
Drink some water
Think about what you want for dinner
2 minute hotspot
5 minute room rescue

Much easier for me today as we dont have to be out of the house until 9.15. Harder on Pre-school days.

ludaloo · 13/09/2007 09:05

Happy birthday Jas. Happy Birthday ludaloos DD for yesterday.

I have another piccie from yesterday. This is my bed before I went out to work. I should explain I needed to find a shoe, couldn't find it by rummaging so emptied the whole lot out.
I then did a 27 fling boogie( well 12ish thing boogie actually) and threw a load of stuff away - incluing an odd shoe . So the bottom of my wardrobe is nice and tidy and decluttered.

Well I have to say I also completed yesterdays mission (yay )....but I did kind of cheat as I had done this the day before!!!!

Today I have decluttered the cupboard under the sink (mainly as a consequence of having to strip everything out to plumb my DW twice (MEN!!!).

I need to sort a routine...I think I am going to go back and do a mini control journal (well a list).

I havn't strated S&Sing as I am doing baby steps and Kelly hasn't told me too yet ...but when I do I was always going to do it in the evening as my morning routine is easy. Crawl out of bed, drag on clothes (which I got out last night of course) and crawl into car.

As for todays babysteps I am going to omit this one. We have tried doing a load a day in teh past and it doesn't work for us, partly because I have 3 specific loads to do Friday evening/Sat morning (uniforms) and partly because of the way I dry it making it difficult to stagger.

Oh well...must sort out swimming kits.....

....did nobody volunteer to come and sort me and my headlice out - ho hummmm..

Jas · 13/09/2007 14:18

Love the pics. You can't tell it is a double bed in the first one! You know you will findthe other shoe now you have thrown one away though?

I am impressed at anyone ho has an already organised washing pattern How do you dry it?(nosey....)

Happy Birthday Jas and Ludaloo, please can I borrow your castle. It looks like you could actually just leave the DC's on it and get stuff done.

My two are at the ankle biting stage and a attatched to me

Today I have done
Up and Dressed
Beds all made
S&S
Hung out a load of washing
Had to wash the spare bedding, as the cooking fat left me a suprise on it
emptied the dishwasher
Shined my sink
Mission
Sorted out dinner
done the shopping

I have also had a CBT session this lunchtime, whilst DS2 is asleep.

To Do

Room resucue
Nightime Routine
Ironong
Visit MIL - she came out of hospital on Tuesday.

I am FLYing, I am Flying - I keep signing this to I am sailing tune - he he he. I AM MAD

SlightlyMadSweden · 13/09/2007 14:23

I didn't mean it is organised.

We dry 70% of it on an airer in the conservatory, but it can take 2-3 days. So if we do a load every day all the wet and dry washing is staggered and we can't get to the dry washing to take it off without knowcking the wet washing off and vice versa.

At the mo we currenlty wash Fri and Mon. the dry wasing gets taken off whilst first load of the day is inteh machine...and then it tends to sit in a chair (hotspot) until someone can be arsed to put it away.

I think I can use this baby step to possibly spread the laundry across the week instead of just doing everything on Monday or Friday.

Maybe
Friday - wash
Saturday - tumble my smalls & put away
Sunday - put away stuff on airer
Monday - wash & tumble smalls
Tues - put away yesterdays dryer load
Weds/Thurs put away stuff on airer.

SlightlyMadSweden · 13/09/2007 14:24

Twas an old 1980's style court shoe with a little heel anyway - so I would never wear it again, and forgot I even had them

SMS Thanks for the birthday wishes for DD1 (you have the same duvet cover as me!!!!!)

themadhouse Its great! it has a net all the way round so they can't fall out. It keeps them occupied for hours!! Its not too bad on electricity either.

Jas my dh is just the same....we were having a row over my birthday and he didn't get me anything ... not even a card

FGS That's a good idea...I have put mine on the computer too (well Jas's!) bigbeer I keep meaning to ask...what is 15 minutes Pilates??

Hello Babypowder You are doing brilliantly with your routine!

Oh and madhouse...you have me singing I am Flying too!!!!!!! (much to everyone's annoyance )

chinwag · 13/09/2007 19:19

Aah, so this is where you're all hiding...

ludaloo · 13/09/2007 19:22

Hello, this is the place to be to get your routines and things in order.

chinwag · 13/09/2007 20:25

Not done bad today. Don't have a lot of time during the week to do too much, as I'm at work during school hours.

I even cleaned out a cupboard which has been annoying me for ages. You lot are such a good influence...

BigBeeristheBigBeer · 13/09/2007 22:07

luda my 15 mins Pilates is doing the mini workout on my Darcey Bussell Pilates for Life DVD . It just involves floorwork aimed at strengthening your abdominals and pelvic floor. But you may have noticed it isn't always getting ticked off my list...

Put some pics of the kids in a picture frames tonight, we had no framed picture of DD2 up even tho she's 8 months old! Next the photo album.. but not tonight.

Took DD1 to the library after nursery, so we had new books to read at bedtime today for the first time in what seems like ages .

DH is a bit cross about the new dolls house but says "It's done now".

BigBeeristheBigBeer · 13/09/2007 22:08

I think my routines are going to totally collapse when I go back to work at the end of the year!

Jas · 13/09/2007 22:12

By the time you go back to work BigBeer you will have your routines firmly in place and wll be able to just adapt them. What do you do?

I've given myself the night off from routines, but as I haven't cooked, the kitchen is still ok.

DD1 isn't well so unless she makes a stunning reovery overnight, I may be in all day tomorrow.
