How to remove scuffs from a vinyl plank floor

Son was messing with a big rubbery toy that has left a load of scuffs on a luxury vinyl plank floor. Tried magic eraser, kitchen cleaner, a rubber, wd40. Scuffs still there.

Any ideas?

Can you replace the tile? I have had a few amtico tiles replaced, they lift them with a Stanley knife and reflux the new tile down, it’s done in minutes.

No it’s over too many sadly. God knows hat he was doing! Dragging it around probably.

If it's s rubbery toy it'll have probably been leaving rubber on the vinyl rather than scuffing into the surface. Can you scratch it off with a fingernail to check? If so, try vaseline with a non-scratching kitchen sponge. It's a bugger to clean up and make non-slippy again after though.

Liquid paraffin (lamp oil)

If it’s taken the surface off, rather than leave a deposit on top, you could try shoe polish. I used brown shoe polish on an ‘aged oak’ laminate floor and it disguised the scratch really well. I rubbed it in on a cloth, left it for a few minutes to stain, then wiped it off.

left a deposit on top.
