My second of the day - ideas for picking up hair from the floor tiles - (before I shave my head and permanently defuzz every member of the family!)

I've spent the morning hoovering the tiles, mopping, then getting down on my hands and knees with a cloth - just to remove hair from the bathroom floor .

I've 'googled' - two ideas came up - a 'sticky' roller and a rubber brush ( both US websites) Any ideas anyone or anything you have tried?

I have heard of wearing rubber gloves dipping them in water and wiping down hairy sofas but I don’t know if that works on tiles!

I bought a JML rubber brush and I have a Lakeland "Brush Buddy" .

The Lakeland one is brilliant on the stairs ( the cats like to sit there)

I've only used the long brush on the carpet so far.

I bought a couple of those plughole covers , the amount of hair it collects Shock , at least it isn't clogging up the pipes now .

I might try the rubber glove tip - or perhaps a rubber brush.

I also looked at a fabric mop - looked a bit like fabric whotsits! - might try that.

Rubber broom is amazing. Same as the ones they use in a hairdressers. On tiles/wood, it's horrifying how much it collects (which I just then hoover up) and I've had some success with it on rugs/carpets although it needs a bit more effort.

For human long hair (me and the eldest), easiest thing is rubber gloves to stroke the carpet (where we brush/dry hair) an then collect before using hoover to generally hoover the carpets. I learnt the hard way when I had to take apart the roller from my dyson and slowly cut away at one massive matted dreadlock that had actually stopped the hoover picking up anything!

Rubber broom. Try Wilko.
