confession time
i've completly ignored the flying for good .. ehm .. can't remember for how long!

but i am back - hello everyone!!!

it sure is necessary -

so, i am dressed, d/w is on, w/m finished and hung outside, and i've read up on the emails

which room are we in?

SlightlyMadShockwave · 29/08/2007 11:02

mOZy - I think there is a seperate thread for proper Fliers that have a passport. We are just the BabyStep fliers that need to practise...

alycat · 29/08/2007 12:24

Oh no, just read the reminders - tomorrow is errand day, but I need to do mine today!! I need to get prepared for a mamoth label sewing session as there is something to watch on the TV tonight, have to pick it up from the cleaners first.

I suppose at least its not procrastination if I do it a day early!

mOZzy · 29/08/2007 12:34

oh ... babysteps!
might be right for me after all

hmmm, i will peek into the other one though - if they are too 'focused' i just come back to you!

ludaloo · 29/08/2007 15:01

oooooh I have to say...I have just twigged what today is!! Had to google procrastination and now I understand!!
Ah....so wednesday is ANTI procrastination....hmmmmmmm

Jas · 29/08/2007 18:33

SMS - you can sign up for a daily digest if you want to get a feel for the emails ....you get one a day containing the whole days worth. It will give you a clearer idea of the daily routine. (and you can cancel it )

I've been out all day, but dp came home from work and managed to trash the sitting room and then go out again before I got back. I will make sure I have the sik shiny again before bed tonight, at least.

LOL at FGS!

iris66 · 29/08/2007 19:36

DH away, DD at work, me & DS had tea & I blitzed the kitchen whilst he was still in his high chair. Result = I now have a lovely tidy kitchen (ok, I didn't do the floor I figure that can wait until tomorrow - I did sweep it this morning though) shiny shiny sink and d/washer on before taking him to bed.
I like this feeling

iris66 · 29/08/2007 19:37

Have a nice evening everyone. We're doing well, arent we

harleyd · 29/08/2007 20:18

i did my dishes straight after dinner - even the pots

ludaloo · 29/08/2007 20:49

@FGS

blossomsmine · 29/08/2007 21:02

Oh dear don't think i can do this......Don't like getting dressed first thing in the morning, i like to clean up and then get showered and dressed so i am nice and clean for the day.....flylady won't like me. Also how do you have a life and do this?? Today i did my usual cleaning around routine also put a couple of loads of the line which i am about to iron....but then i went out with my ds and had a lovely day but of course no time for all those babysteps....am i supposed to do all the rest of the stuff now then??? FGS.....

BigBearistheBigBear · 29/08/2007 21:37

I don't have a life!

blossomsmine · 29/08/2007 21:49

Well neither will i if i do all these babysteps things I like the idea of being organised, honestly i do BUT i sometimes need to go out all day, i do work part time aswell..........HOW do i do it all?? Just done the ironing, don't know whether i should quickly drink my quota of water and then what were the other things...........?? Have i got time before bed?

ludaloo · 29/08/2007 21:53

shine your sink....get dressed (so you don't need to do that one)and read the reminders...shouldn't take too long

ludaloo · 29/08/2007 21:57

DRINK YOUR WATER
CONTINUE TO SWISH AND SWIPE
LAUNDRY HABIT: A LOAD A DAY
MORNING ROUTINE: TODAY IS ANTI-PROCRASTINATION DAY
REMINDER: WHATS FOR DINNER?
REMINDER: WHERE IS YOUR LAUNDRY?
REMINDER: WHERE ARE YOUR SHOES?
GET READY FOR TOMORROW: YOUR ROUTINE BRINGS PEACE
REMINDER: GO SHINE YOUR SINK!
REMINDER: PLEASE GO TO BED: YOUR BODY NEEDS SLEEP!

There you go...the reminders in a nut shell...to save you a bit more time

ludaloo · 29/08/2007 22:06

Oooooh I'm not supposed to do that am I Sorry Kelly!

SlightlyMadShockwave · 29/08/2007 22:20

I work part time and I have to say I am coping well so far.

My sink is shiney (although I do have the cups to wash that are next to the sink - but they will have to wait until tomorrow as I have only just finished lablelling school clothes; packing PE bags; sewing buttons back on school dresses; getting dried glue of last terms dresses and doing packed lunches.....I will get more organised when we get back into the routine)
I put my bra on straight after breakfast
I read the emails and testimonial thingy

Its a bit like "I packed my bags" isn't it, adding something new to the list each day....I wonder what tomorrow brings.

blossomsmine · 29/08/2007 22:22

Thanks luda that is very helpful.
So i am not really doing too badly then? Just panicking that i never seem to be doing any de-cluttering and stuff Oh well tomorrows another day!
