When you bleach the sink can you leave the washing up basin in or would that mean dishes would get bleachy next time you used the basin?

I don't use a washing up basin... I still bleach my sink, drainer and worktops..

Thanks Mammyloveawine after bleaching do you then do lots of just water rises to keep the bleach away from future dishes? Basically so bleachy water doesn't touch the dishes you then wash and eat off? X

Just rinse well. Any residual traces will probably dissipate, and won't harm you.

Don't bleach your sink, it's incredibly bad for the environment. There are a lot of effective natural cleaning solutions.

Do wash the bottom of your bowl too, hot soapy water should suffice there as it’s just sitting in the sink. And yes rinse the bleach away gently so it doesn’t splash

Bleach touching your dishes won’t hurt you. You put bleach in drinking water if you want to store it (just a few drops!) lots of us bleach our cups to keep them white (perils of drinking black tea!)!
