Best way to clean glass shower screen?

Had a new glass shower screen fitted today for other reasons. My last one was cleaned once a week with a bathroom cleaner and I even used specific stuff for watermarks/limescale however that made no difference and it always looked so dirty with mainly watermarks. How do I go about keeping this one perfectly clear? More cleaning? Other products?

Viakal spray, amazing stuff, I live in a hard water area.

Daily - dry off surface water after shower with a rubber window cleaner blade

Weekly - clean using viakal spray or limescale bathroom spray with a scrubbing sponge. Rinse off with water and then clean with diluted vinegar or windowlene and dry with kitchen towel

This stops the build up over time

I think from reading all these replies one of my main fails has been not to dry it down after using/ cleaning. I always used to just leave to dry, lesson has been learnt!!!

we moved to a house with a glass screen. within 2 weeks we took it off and have a shower curtain.

So much easier!

Buy a plumbed in water softener that uses salt, it will solve the problem & your washing machine will last longer.

Use a squeegee - get the kids to treat it like a game - pretend to be a window cleaner smoothly flowing the squeegee side to side in one go from top to bottom (not in lines down). See how quick they can do it without missing bits.

And every couple of weeks when I’m going in to use the shower myself, I spray Method cleaning spray on the glass and rub with a sponge. Job quickly done and carry on with my shower.

Are steam cleaners any good for this?
