Thermomix or kitchenaid?

I need to replace a Bosch kitchen mixer and can’t decide.
What I would like is one machine that mixes, kneads dough, juices citrus fruit, blends, chops and grated/slices. I also recently returned to FT work and I think the cooking function of the thermomix would be handy.
I used to have a Bosch that did all of the above minus the cooking. It broke after 15 years and after much research I got the follow up model. This newer model is much shoddier and breaking after about 2 years and I need to replace it.
Can anyone give a recommendation?

My aunt has a thermomix and adores it - has a tiny kitchen and does most of her cooking in it, including bread baking. The kitchenaids are pretty and well engineered, but you're paying huge amounts for the brand as well. Although I'm not sure what the capacity of the thermomix is, if that might be a problem?

I have a kitchenaid and all the attachments to do grating etc but have never used them as cba. Can you get an instantpot instead?! ;)

Borridge, did you manage to do your research on the Thermomix? I have been a user for the past 7 years and I absolutely love it, so much that I became an advisor. All my users are very happy with theirs, and although it is not cheap, I'd say it's not expensive considering what it does and the time and money you will save! It has definitely changed the way we eat as a family. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have!

Me too the thermomix are expensive but well worth the money I've had one for over a year now :)

I was given one as a gift which made me double happy: I got a great machine and I didn’t have to take the decision!

I am very happy with it and the only thing I do by hand now is to slice which was previously done by my Bosch. As the thermomix does so much else, I am happy with this.
