Coat hanger storage

I have thrown away as many hangers as I can, so I don’t have that many extra but where/how the flipping hell do you store the tangly bastards? I have open wardrobes so I can’t just shove them on a shelf, anyway doing that they still tangle Up!

Mine are all the flock covered ones so they're thin.
I keep all spare ones in the small bedroom ( aka the Room of Tat/ Our male cat's hideaway ) . I have a high shelf for storage and a rail underneath to store out-of-season clothes , hangers go there .

I don't take hangers in shops , always those bulky plastic or wire ones so no good for me

Lakeland used to do a triangular hanger holder ,

On the rail alongside the none empty ones,??

I bought one of these:

www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07SXB8NTJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_OB0JDbAG48F6T?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Mine was black but that is coming up as not available. I did have the Lakeland one that 70isalimit mentioned but it was too flimsy and was always falling over.

I have a washing bag (those Pop up ones) that I put them all in but I do bin them every few months so the collection stops growing! My Dad uses a blue Ikea bag and that works well as well.

I got rid of all the plastic shop ones (the charity shop took some of them) and I bought a couple of packs of wooden ones from ikea. I now make a point never to take the hanger home when I buy new clothes.

Brabantia washing bag in the bathroom and a plastic crate in the utility room. I've also bought a pile of IKEA children's hangers, some plastic grown up ones from Argos and some trouser clip hangers from Ebay. I've culled all the odd ones that were too small or too bulky or things fell off and I don't take any new ones from shops.

Amazon did have a giant hanger thing but it was £20-25.

We culled all the shop ones and replaced them with thin flock ones that are flat so you can fit loads next to each other in the wardrobe
