Without having to wash them? Because whenever I do hand-wash them they always take forever to dry and still smell a bit.

Any suggestions
Thank you

I wash cashmere by hand in the sink, rinse it well, add fabric conditioner, then put it in the machine to spin with another load. My machine (Samsung) allows me to stop the cycle at any point and add small items to it. Doing it this way enables it to have a good spin, but without the agitation of the machine on a wash. I then dry the items flat on a mesh dryer.

If you can't stop your machine, you could perhaps wash the jumpers by hand and when you have a full load, wash the load but suspend the spin cycle, add the jumpers and set it to spin?

Spinning can shrink wool.
Op are the sweaters cashmere, wool, angora, or a fibre mix ?

I have washed cashmere jumpers in a washing machine for years . I use wool wash option ( Bosch) sometimes wirh soap nuts sometimes wirh woodlite or supermarket equivalent. No fabric conditioner.

I think my orders cashmere jumper is about 25 years old .

I have also dyed cashmere.

I think the trick to avoid shrinking is no drastic changes in water temperature.

To avoid too much washing wear a sleeved vest under woollen tops uniqlo have lovely thin ones .

I probably wash each jumper about 2 or 3 times a year. Same with ordinary woolen jumpers, gardening ones more often.

I always buy wool or high wool blend they keep their looks and texture better than man-made and are warmer. It's easy to mop off food stains. Many years ago I think my woolen knitted school jumper was washed once a term !

Drying anything, and in particular woollen jumpers, is a problem in tbe winter and especially small flats .invest in good sized dehumidifier about £100 . It will have a laundry option .
It also freshers the air .
My best buy in 2024 .
