Getting a cleaner for the first time.. Advice needed..

I'm getting a cleaner starting from next week. She's coming round on Monday to discuss my needs and preferences.
I asked for two hours a week but she said she will just be there for one hour but charge me for two as there are two of them.
The dilemma I have, and it sounds stupid really but what do I ask her to clean? There are 5 of us in a 4 bed house with 2 dogs. My house constantly needs cleaning! My teenagers room is a bombsite so I don't really want to waste my precious cleaning time on that.

I have to hoover and mop my kitchen floor near enough everyday due to the dogs, so I see it as a waste of time getting her to do those jobs.
I thought about getting her to do the jobs that I hate doing such as washing and changing the beds but with her only being here an hour she won't have time as the bedding won't be dry in time.
I don't iron either as I just hang things up straightaway.

Any advice, tips etc?

Two hours for a four bed house doesn't sound that long - we have ours for three hours for our three bed flat.

I get her to do the bathrooms and the kitchen and hoover throughout. She usually gives the oven a quick clean but doesn't do things like the fridge or inside the cupboards. She empties all the bins and does a bit of dusting too.

I also tidy a lot before she comes so she can focus on the actual cleaning.

It's really up to you though, just don't underestimate how long it takes to do things like the beds.

Two hours for four bed house here.

She makes beds (I strip them), hoovers everywhere, cleans all surfaces, wipes skirting boards, does 2x bathrooms and one downstairs toilet, cleans kitchen & utility and mops wooden floors.

Once a month, she gives the oven and fridge a clean after I’ve emptied it.

I do make sure everything is spotlessly tidy before she comes, otherwise she can’t do it all.

Three hours a week in a three bedroom house. Hoovers throughout and mops floors. Changes either one bed or the other two (strips and remakes). Dusts bedrooms and downstairs rooms. Cleans bathroom, kitchen and downstairs loo.

Hoover, dust and polish throughout and bathrooms and mops floors. Large bungalow 2.5 hours. You have to ensure it’s immaculately tidy though otherwise cleaner will spend time moving things. I was previously paying for 4 hours with another agency and offered the same to this one but she does it all within 2.5! Be clear about what you want done and standards required.
