Best mop for tiled floor

What type of mop is best for a large tiled floor? Microfibre? Rag? Sponge?
I'm pretty slovenly about floor cleaning, so maximum cleaning for minimum effort is preferred please!

the best mop is a good old fashioned cotton one with a mop bucket of hot soapy water

Is it a ceramic floor? If so, nothing beats a steam mop, imo. And I've tried them all.

I use a spray mop. So much quicker and easier. Tried my steam mop on my new Lino but it keeps drying streaky. Even use the spray mop on my amtico

I use a Vileda spray mop. Tried a steam mop but it was such a faff for very average result.

Excuse my ignorance - a spray mop doesn't need a bucket? You just pour neat flash into the handle? Will it hold enough for my ridiculously large kitchen-diner-hallway, which is all tiled the same throughout?
I've tried a steam mop and it was rubbish - although it could have been that particular steam mop of course.

I mix the flash and water then your spray and mop away. The microfibre pads come off then you just chuck them in the wash.

I got mine off groupon and I've used it for 2 weeks washing kitchen, front and back halls and bathroom and still got about a quarter left.

By the look of it the vileda one has a lot smaller a chamber but there are so many out there you will find one will do.

And this is the only mop I need? A spray mop isn't just for quick cleans in between a proper mop with a mop & bucket?

It's all I use. If you have a deeper texture you might want a mop and bucket now and again for a more thorough clean but for standard stuff I think it's fine

A vile day mop

Fat fingers
Vileda mop

"vile day" is probably what you get when you don't mop 😁.

I love a spray mop. But sometimes the fluff gets trapped at the edge of my base board. It's great to do a wee wipe round every day.

This is the best on my tiled high gloss floor, I’ve used this mop for years. If they ever stop selling replacement heads I’ll cry.

We've recently moved and now have hall, large kitchen/dining/sitting area all tiled in wood effect porcelain tiles.
I have a spray mop, a steam mop and an old fashioned vileda type mop.
Old fashioned mop and flash wins hands down.
Spray mop is ok for spot cleaning but I find it leaves the floor a bit sticky and streaky.
Steam mop which used to be the best option in my old house is ok but takes ages It is old though, I have been eying up a shark steam mop or the busses crosswave.

I bought the vileda 1 2 spray. It's amazing! I thought I'd need a 'proper' mop too, but I don't think I will. My kitchen floor is very textured, but it cleans right in the crevices. Also, because you don't have to faff round with a bucket of hot water, I tend to just do the dirty bits more regularly.
Thank you for the recommendation!
