how did it die?

DH killed ours on Friday (stepped on flex and ripped it ou ) but it was actually fairly easy to fix. Might be cheaper to get it mended that get a new one...

Miele do good ones. My parents have one (called Cat and Dog or something) specifically for pet hair.

OhFark · 29/07/2007 21:56

SEBO SEBO SEBO SEBO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Life changing (for a saddo like me)

drosophila · 29/07/2007 21:56

Miele are the Dogs ahem. Have tried Dyson and Bosch in the past but nothing so far compares.

cutekids · 29/07/2007 21:56

well whatever u do,don't buy the new "vax" cos although it looks like a nice alternative, it's a complete monstrosity compared..(and i thought dyson was a bitch of a hoover to manipulate!)U know how dyson attacks ur heels etc.,well this dyson one is a completely awkward "bitch"!!!

Our house rabbit has chewed the flex! It keeps cutting out.

Which consumer magazine recommended Miele and dp and I have been pretty happy with ours - laminate downstairs installed in place of carpet after we bought vacuum cleaner, carpets on stairs and upstairs and 2 cats. Ours isn't a special pet hair one but does ok - cost about £99 from Argos as that's just a handy place for us to shop - but they make one.

Miele or Sebo.

hattiejacques · 29/07/2007 22:10

Is the red henry the best or is there another good one? Pavlov would you recommend a particular miele or sebo model?

madmumof5 · 29/07/2007 22:41

henry is the red on and his wife is pink and she is called hettie they are both the same and brillant

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 29/07/2007 22:45

Sebo.

drosophila · 30/07/2007 19:12

I don't think Henry has the Hepa filter though. Anyone know?

That is something I love about Miele you know what get sucked up stays sucked up not blown back into air. A must for asthma sufferers.
