Getting smeared/dried banana out of clothes!!

My DS loves making a mess with his food and I washed a bib after he'd eaten banana and it came out looking like it was mouldy. He's now got it on his new clothes - does anyone have any hints before I madly attempt to get it out.

Thanks

i will add this

i got manky banana into my lovely pink jumper top a few years ago. (must be 5 years ago as it was my old charge, he was 2 and is now 7)

nothing at all would get it out (I tried and tried) and then actually bought a new top.

I then died this jumper navy blue. Its one of my favourite jumpers and has been worn and washed about once a week for the past 5 years.

Even now if you look carefully you can STILL see where the banana was 5 years ago

My tip is to only let him eat banana naked in future!

This is so annoying and I'd love to know what the answer is - short of immediately rinsing the clothes which isn't always practical.....
Someone must know....please!

they should tell new mothers about this in the hospital. there is no cure!

Soak in napisan - seems to remove the worst of it!

I used to just put bleach on the area for a few seconds until I could see it dissapear then rinse and wash. Only with bibs that I didn't care much about. Doesn't come out otherwise.
