Washer-dryer recommendations?

Hi! I’m looking for a washer-dryer that’s really good at drying, and has these wash options:
30 degree wash of about 30 mins, suitable for delicates
40 degree wash of about 30-40 mins
60 degree wash of about 40-45 mins
If possible a 20 degree wash and a very hot (90 or 95 degree) wash.
I’m hoping to find something for not more than about £400. Does anyone have recommendations, please?
Thank you! :)

Forgot to say, it would also be great to have a very short wash, of about 15 mins, at 20 or 30 degrees.

Honestly if you’ve the room then go for separate machines. Never seen or heard of one that does either job well.

Unfortunately I don’t have room.

General rule is, to get a decent washer dryer, you'd be looking at least £400 - if not £600-800 (some are stupid money of £1200-£1500+).

In terms of brand I would say look to Bosch/Siemens and possibly Zanussi (as these will be mid price range and the better of the bunch)

Hotpoint/Indesit or Hooever/Candy are notorious for being unreliable. Samsung and Miele are the ones in the stupidly high price range (and the Samsung won't be worth the £).

Where you're really going to struggle is the cycle times, a washer dryer cycle from wash through to dry is about 4-6 hours per cycle.

I've a Bosch washer dryer and it's fab but it was £850. Try a which subscription if you can, it helped me to come to my decision to spend more than I'd originally hoped to.

I would really like to recommend something, but...

We've had a mid-range Zanussi and a mid-range Bosch (£400 - £500). Neither was good at drying and the Bosch only lasted 3 years. To be fair, I am sure we regularly overloaded it and generally worked it too hard Blush

After that we had a John Lewis model which was £799 and was totally fab for 2 years, then started to develop problems. The bearings went and it had to be scrapped at the 4-year mark Sad

An engineer I have spoken to said that most models aren't very well-built these days and the top spin speeds put too much stress on them. I have reluctantly given up on dryers for now.

Thank you very much for the replies. Does anyone have experience of Beko ones, as recommended in this article? www.telegraph.co.uk/property/0/7-best-washer-dryers/
I’ve had a Beko dishwasher for years and am very happy with it.
