Reasonable notice period for cleaner?

Hello - looking for some guidance. We've had a lady doing our cleaning once a week for the last 3 years. Generally reliable until the last few months, but then sending last minute cancellations, and not doing quite as thorough job as previously. I don't want to make an issue out of it, but am going to let her go, as I'm doing more and more myself each week anyway. What would you consider to be a reasonable notice period? I was thinking 4 weeks? No contract, etc to refer to so a bit stumped as to what is best practise.

Two weeks she’s got more than enough that’s why she’s finding fitting you in difficult

I would give a week for each year worked, so 3 weeks. She might not take you up on it, but that seems a fair offer.

Well, if there is no contract, then in fact no notice is required. They are not employed after all.

Sounds harsh, but that is the reality.

You could offer to pay for a couple of weeks I suppose.
