Alternative to washing up sponges

I went to buy some more washing up sponges when I suddenly realised that there should be a reusable alternative.
I use washable sanitary towels so why not a washable washing up sponge.

So what do you use, if at all?

You can get washable reusable washing up sponges from various places, like these:

I use a bamboo cloth

I have reusable washable ones from Lakeland. They're looking a bit sorry for themselves after a year or so though.

I also just stick my old normal sponges in a hot wash to keep them going a few rounds.

I've tried brushes and clothes etc but nothing works as well as a sponge IMO. YES

A cloth?

These will last a few months and can then be composted so they won't end up as landfill.

OXO brush with dispenser for washing up liquid.

This is sad but it makes me happy every time I use it. It works SO well, it's not visually offensive and you can buy replacement brushes.

Accidently washed a few sponges. Came out fine!

We use these and cloths for wiping down surfaces.

The scrubbers are amazing. Bought three at Christmas and only just onto out second one. They're porous enough that you can wash them free of stuff easily. They're scratchy enough to get stuck/burnt food off well. They don't scratch the pans as badly as "non scratch" sponges did. When they start falling apart they can be composted.

They're a bit pricey but I probably would have gone through two packs of sponges or more by now and these honestly work better.
