Rusty bakewear

Has this occured because of it being in the dishwasher and is there anything I can do about it? Some of it is quite new so I wouldn't want to bin it if there is a solution. TIA.

I will be lurking to find out an answer - DH and I keep buying dishwasher safe bakeware only for it to go all rusty really quickly!!!

We have even contacted Waitrose to complain about theirs, but they didn't really give us a useful response. They just said that they would ask their manufacturer to investigate(what good is that to us??)

I have just emiled Lakeland as I bought it from there and I will let oyu know the answer. Their customer service is second to none so I am sure they will sort this out.

They have replied and want to know exactly which items so they can sort it out and tell me if they are dishwasher safe.

Well now I wish we had gone to lakeland...LOL

cut a potato in half rub on rust then wash in hot soapy water. I hate to say that if it doens't come off after a few trys at this the bakeware is probably not salvagable. To give you some hope this method (its a kim and aggie) worked on a wok that had been rusty for a year

Getting a replacement on one and refund for the other 2 as they no longer stock them.
